Cotton Baluchari Saree – Vanamala

Standing figures are woven into the pallu in the Baluchari tradition, framed by bands of narrative figure-work in gold and ivory. A temple border and woven buti run the length.
Handwoven in pure cotton, a Baluchari worked in the ease of cotton rather than silk, light and comfortable to drape.
